The Nanaimo Ice Centre opened in 2006 and features two NHL-size ice rinks. Rink One has a seating capacity of 400 and Rink Two has a capacity of 200. The facility also offers 11 change rooms, two officials room, a warm lounge area perfect for media, VIPs or banquets. The 35,150 sq.ft. Oliver Woods Community Centre is the first LEED Gold certified civic building in Nanaimo. It is a 2-storey facility with four multi-purpose spaces, a double gymnasium, daycare centre and conference room. Click HERE for more information.
