Real estate market report for June 2024

Welcome to the monthly real estate statistics newsletter.  

We are halfway through the year and when you average out the first 6 months you can see that the median sold price and number of sales are similar (within 5%) to the first half of last year in both Nanaimo and Parksville/Qualicum. However, we are seeing approximately 30% more houses for sale, with the majority of these being listed in the second quarter, but no corresponding increase in the sold numbers.
