Synopsis:
In Nanaimo for the month there were 463 active listings of single family freehold homes and 297 in Parksville/Qualicum.
The graphs below are for Nanaimo and show the average sold numbers and average sold price since January 2011.
We are continuing to see improved sales compared with the previous two years which is also helping to keep prices buoyant. This has also meant we are seeing the sell to list price ratio at 97% whereas for the majority of last year it ranged between 94% and 96%. Also during March the average time a home took to sell fell as single family homes that sold had only been listed for an average of 44 days.
